It is rediculous and shame on us that this is part of our system. Are yaar everything you put it on merit not on caste resevation i dont know why this is being renewed always there should be fullstop for this let us see still how many years it will take to stop this if we are not stopping all the good ones will go bad ones only remains not ramarajya it will be ravanarajya these bludy politicians never understands i dont know by earning so much of money still they are not satisfied they want more and more by stamping on peoples head. this is the main reason that not even one bill gates has born in india.

This was done principally to shield all the Muslim criminals being caught and who were being tried under the various laws for their involvement in terrorist activities and this was again done with an eye on the vote banks. Sadly now the law has been made an impotent joke and to the point that even if someone like Dawood was caught, he would get away a free man.
If BJP and the saffron brigade is harping on Hindu vote banks, then it is because the so called majority is being left out and they need a forum to let their resentment out. Its quite natural that if some community will be favored by a ruling political party, there will be someone who will exploit the ignored ones to strengthen their own cause. Call it Action-Reaction policy, but BJP would never have existed if Congress had truly been secular in its formative years, had it refrained from appeasing the so called minorities which mocks the very foundations of democracy, whose main principle is that all citizens are equal and should be treated equally. In the end instead of ending the caste and race divides, the various bloody Congress leaders have actually sharpened this divide that much further for their own selfish political gains. India is a ticking civil time bomb waiting to explode much sooner than later. A major civil war is in the making and if and when that happens, Congress will be the one to be blamed for the same.

Vote bank politics has reached a flashpoint where every political leader now needs to champion the cause of his own religion/caste people to win votes. Secularism is fast fading away and the ugly cross diction divide is increasing. The Us v/s Them policy is now an accepted measure in politics. And where did this originate from? No guesses needed here mate! We are all too aware of why we dont have good hospitals and good doctors in Government run healthcare units and why we dont have efficient men running this countrys various public machinery. Who is responsible for such a corrupt babudom? Is it a surprise that a majority of these corrupt employees enjoy so much unaccountable power on account of getting reserved seats, handed to them without having to work for it? Who now dreams of serving the people by working in the Government these days?
Cases of politicians using fake caste certificates to fight elections to represent the so called minorities is rising. The detection of such frauds, disqualifications of such MLAs and subsequent re-elections where the same happens again is killing the tax paying public. In fields of medicine and science where human lives are always at stake how can undeserving people be allowed to work just on the basis of their caste certificates? Again who has promoted such a warped notion of merit, mate? Neither Maulana Azad, Ambedkar nor Scientist Abdul Kalam needed any reservations to become the highest pillars of our democracy.

Since some people are getting everything on a platter %u2013 education seats, jobs in Government etc, they dont work hard for it and now the same is expected from private colleges and job sectors, who have worked hardest the most to bring India up on economic the world map. Again the loser will be all the so called hard working upper class citizens like us who have been subject to a third class citizen treatment for years.
It is these minority and Dalit appeasing policies that brought a man like Laloo Prasad Yadav in power in Bihar 15 years back with Congress blessings and look where it has got Bihar today. Over the years when total mafia backed Caste Raj prevailed in Bihar, Congress was happy to stay in power with the likes of Laloo Yadav just to keep communal forces at bay. Also the effort to include reservations for Muslims as a minority community [the second largest majority in the country in reality] again smacks of a conspiracy to further divide the religious fabric to win Muslim votes in the country. The financial subsidies, help and SOPs given to Mecca travelers are in direct undemocratic contrast to the fact that Hindus traveling annually to Amarnath yatras are left to fend for themselves without any kind of Government help. Then you have the way the damned Congress government who removed all the anti-terror laws in the country including TADA and later recently POTA, post the 1992 riots and bomb blasts.

It's a matter of shame that even the BJP has finally succumbed to this policies. Both the ruler and the opposition care only for the votes and not the people who vote them in.
I had predicted here last year when the new Reservations in Higher Education was done, that India would slip into a bloody civil war and thatw e were sitting on a time bomb that the Congress was setting up. I was afraid that more and more castes would get violent to get into the backward category and anarchy would break out much sooner than later.
My worst fears have now come true.
The only solution is to go the Rang De Basanti way finally. What the Parliament attackers could not achieve in 2001, the hard working, honest people of India may well need to do one day.

So why do we still have Congress and the so called secularists pushing for more reservations that will only result in more corruption, civil unrest and more inefficiency at work?
The fact that around 10 lakh Bangladeshis have been given citizenship by various Maharashtra Governments to date since 1990 for the purpose of setting up a vote bank is again a violation of the fundamental rights of naturally born Indians. The least said about their malpractices in Kashmir and Punjab [where again Indira Gandhi promoted Punjab terrorist Bindranwale in a political attempt to gain control of Punjabs various gurudwaras and vote banks], the better. Nothing has been done to prevent illegal Bangladeshi infiltration in places like Mizoram, Assam etc, by the various Congress Governments as they have been converted into a major vote bank. Now they want more reservations to get more votes when the best solution all along these years was to work on equal education and relevant infrastructure. But why work on educating masses and bring in meritocracy where people can actually question your corrupt dynastic rule? Far better option is to keep people illiterate and dependent on your pre-election SOPs without giving them the power to judge their own destiny.
If you cant see through the above malpractices, than its a political ignorance at best. The lessons are all there in the history, to draw from, and learn from, but we all know that our Secular Congress will never learn from it.

Now that the age of caste based reservations is here in the private sector where meritorious middle class could survive on the strength of their talent, the last nail in the coffin of honest hardworking people like us who also pay the highest burden of taxes from our hard earned money is complete. The age of modern day city Naxalism of highly trained, educated and skilled urban youth is looming omniously upon us.
Congress and its so called Progressive allies are actually taking us back to the dark days in reverse discrimination. They first spawned the rural naxalism with their anti people policies and are now set to do the same in cities pushing the educated meritorious youth to the brink of anarchy and chaos. Their ally DMK has no money to promote education in rural TN and has pushed for more than 70% reservation while he has no problems draining 700 crores of tax payer money for giving out free colour tvs to those people for cheap votebank, instead of using that money for strengthening their primary education.
Their train and bus services in liberalized visa regime has helped ISI and Lashker to spread in every corner of India and now we must pay the price of their do called friendship crap.
Under Congress communalism India will one day go down the USSR way plagued with illegal immigration, terrorism, naxalism and casteism and regionalism resulting in religious intolerance and civil wars, with ISI and LeT having a field day without having to work for it.

in today's world we are talking abt equality ; really is it so ????? equality among male and female ( where is it ; women need reservation everywhere ) every person in our country is looking for a reservation against its caste ( category ) ; the day is quite near ; when general category people will also ask for reservation ... why cany we do it like this : if a person is competent enough ; he is fit for job or admission in educational institution .. there should be a universal law ; based on famous Darwin's theory of " survival of the fittest " if u a fit ; then only u can survive .. why cant a person from these reserved categories prove their fitness .... why ?????

i strongly agree with you. but in a country with anormous level of corruption (but can't be proved in the courts!) how is it possible to find our economically backward and rural people. due to these implementation problems, till such mechanism comes, it is good to continue with the present caste based system which is less error prone. i do not support the caste system which divides human being as high and low. but it is a lesser evil in a corrupt society atleast in the matter of reservations! i do not have much hope on corruption to decrease in the future. i wish only it does not expenentially grow putting the common man into trouble.
In today's world, it does not matter whether something is justified or not ... What matters is, the might of the group of people proposing or opposing something. So how much ever we shout in these portals, and with how much ever conviction we believe that reservation is not right, it is not gonna change - cause groups supporting reservation is, mighty, electorally ... The mirror reflection of this argument is also as true ... i.e. if groups advocating reservation did not have power (electoral or any other - does not matter what), how much ever justified they would have been in demanding it, it would not have been given to them ...
I feel that if caste based reservation were not there, india would be a different country by now. This is a political tool which is not letting india's people think freely and grow.

The conflict between the Meenas and the Gujjars show the selfishness among the so called claimants. Meenas want to be given ST status, but should not be given to the Gujjars. It clearly shows tht all the Meenas want all the fruits of Reservation to be given to them. What a selfish mentality. It is not only among these two,even among the educated, elite, rich SC/STs have this mentality. They do not want to give way to the poor SC/STs. This is the reason why they want only caste based reservation and no creamy layer.
Hell with Reservation. This is definitely going to bring feud among Indian people and is going to fragment the country more.
First bring economic criteria and define definitely within how many years this reservation system will be removed. Only if it is a time bound program, people will not get frustrated. If it is going to be admissions on merit basis, all will have equal chances.
Do not be bull shitting that the forward castes downgraded the OBCs etc etc. In fact, the OBCs perpetrated more crimes on the Dalits, pre and post independent India. Even now, in most caste conflicts, it is between the OBCs and the Dalits. Forward Communities are not involved.They need to be punished for that. Just because they are good vote bank, the politicians want to pamper them and give them reservations.
