I am totally against reservation for any group/community. If at all the reservation could be provided to the general population only on economic criteria. Even such reservation should for the basic education/job requirement and that only once in the lifetime for the same person. If that oerson is unable to reap the benefit given such, he is unfit for further help.
Of course...all students who gets admission on merit basis will be made fools by dis sort of reservation system...If some adjustments has to be done, y cant da govt. reduce the fee toda various educational institutions instead of cheating the meritorious people...Most of the sc/st people i have seen will quit their colleges or education and destroying the opportunity of ofr desrving people... These so called politicians know dat if dey have 2 win in an elexion, votes r a must & at da same time dey will send deir kids abroad for studies, its da common man who will be playing da 2nd fiddle
As we know the situation in India , that reservations are caste orignated,I am total against it. If you want to give reservations ,be it for economically back ward classes then what ever the caste may be that person having ,it can be bhramin or any thing. If the person is economically backward and intends to learn and prosper then he/she should be given a chance to get admited but should not be given reservation in geting marks or promotions. There he/she should compete with others and should excel in the competion.
Reservation will only help uncompetent people to rule the system. Only beggers advocate the system. It is wrong to blame brahmins for all the mistakes of the past. Even bhimrao became ambedkar after getting help from brahmin and mayawati case is not different. The quota system is not existing any where in the world where the oppression is hard than what dalits report. Negros never advocated quota rather they struggled hard and today USA no1 country in the world. India is the worst corrupt country due to beggers occuping the seats in government jobs and beggers selected as ministers.How a 30% marks scored head master can teach a student ? what is the future of this country. Opportunity should be given to underprivileged people to compete. Our politicians never let dalits to compete. They give free rise and they never teach dalits to earn their money. Competent people survive with or without quota. But what will happen to country when it is ruled by beggers.

Yes, You R absolutely right. Soon India would be a country of beggers ruled by beggers because "Rajan Pujyote Desham, Vidyan Pujyote Sarbatram" -- The educated upper caste people would get respectable job anywhere in the world.
Is there a way to gradually eradicate such issues that directly affect the growth of a nation and it%u2019s people?? can we making the parallels meet ?? or we people have decided to live with it .. can we discuss on a way out so that in long run no one is the sufferer. Politics in India is shattered it is now more of a power gaining game( at any cost to the society) so presuming that we will get a solution there .. is setting up wrong expectations for yourself.. The system should have been built so that %u201Cit can not break, even if it is run by idiots%u201D that is how it works in developed nations%u2026 but that%u2019s past ... & believe me considering the state it is impossible now.. or is it?? Can something be done to make this nation go forward and not backward??
I strongly oppose the Caste base Reservation.It is a dangerous and also divide and rule system.Reservation should be given on economic basis only. On doing this all weeker section will get benefit. A large number of upper cate people are also below poverty level and their life is miserable. They are not getting any reservation, no help nothing. Why the Government encouraging to divide people on caste. Govt. should pass new amendment in this.The present system of reservation should be abolished and a new reservation policy on the basis of economic should be taken. There should be no reservation if we want to progress. I dont see any logic behind reservations for the so called SC/ST. They can work, so why reservations for them. All are equal. So NO RESERVATIONS.....
Sufficient time and opportunities have been given to them to improve themselves. So long as the Government/s continues/continue to help them at the cost of other communities (education, job opportunities, financial assistance, what more and what not), they will never improve. To give them an opportunity to come up in life, Govt/s should immediately dispense with all the facilities being extended to them atleast for a period of another decade. Only then there may be a ray of hope that they would improve.
Allow other poverty-stricken communities to improve. Give them opportunities and extend help Oh! People at Power.
