Once I got a call (in broken English), about a personal loan of Rs 50,000 (!!) from Stan Chat. I poitely refused. The same lady called me up (in broken English again, that gave her away) another 3/4 times. I politely refused everytime saying that I have been called before, so please stop worrying about me. The next time, she called me, I asked her what shall I do with 50,000 when I have a bigger amount in the salary savings account in THEIR bank. For a few seconds she was quiet. Then she started saying that there is very low EMI and stuff. By this time I was really pissed off. I said, "If this money will be enough to marry off your parents, I will take a loan and by the way, please send your parents as well so that I can marry them off". The calls stopped !!!!

That was an unnnecessary statement dragging her parents into the matter.
