Tele Marketing

The best way to deal with this is tell them you are not intrested upfront and hang up the phone. Why harass someone else who is doing this job becuase of some desperation . Rediff should stop such nonsense article. Ask the person who wrote this article if he/she would do the same if his/her mother or sister worked as TeleSales worker

Hi All
Rediff has really gone out of bounds this time. Those guyz do it coz its their job and no one likes to hear abuses from customers. Blame the banks and the managers for these agressive marketing policies. Those poor guyz are making a living out of this. Propose marrige to the person who calls you for a credit card. I have known people who do this job and support their families because they cannot afford to study more. I would like to propose marrige to the writer of this article, that idoit.

CONGRATULATIONS REDIFF ON ACHEVING NEW LEVELS OF RUBBISH JOURNALISM. YOU WILL GET THE INSENSITIVE JERKS OF THE YEAR AWARD

Akshay is able to able to observe facts and things which the writer of this article and rediff's journalist are not able to see. The people to blame for telemarketing calls are firstly the aggressive marketing managers and secondly the policy makers . The agents who make these calls do not enjoy this. and in fact they suffer more than the recipient of theSE calls. They face abuses and all sort of dirty remarks. still they have to carry this job beacause of a host of a reasons BEYOND THEIR CONTROL . SO POLITELY CONVEY THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE REQUIREMENT OR INTEREST IN THE PRODUCTS OFFERED BY THEM . As about the article in the rediff no mature person with a bit of undrstanding of ground realities and morality would write such article. As about rediff its just keeps on churning outa host of such craps.

Telemarketing is not a legal means of selling your product. if the expected customer harasses the telemarketing executive then there is nothing wrong. I thank Rediff for giving such wonderful tips for reverse harrassment. One will understand the pain of telemarketing when you get a call on your mobile when you are in roaming mode, you are screwed man.

No. Nobody should just walk in our life becouse he / she has our tel. no. Answering 5-7 unsolicited calls everyday is just not acceptable. When these mktg co. start getting junk responses, automatically they will stop calling.

I totally agree with you Akshay. I regularly read rediff articles and have a good impression on them. All that waned the moment I read this. Such a nasty article.

you are 100% right. They are also like us. Most of them are educated but because of their fate they are landed in that business. It is such a pity that Rediff has suggested such filthy suggestions. Hope the one who has written this article will have his child working in that field at that time he will realize.
