I love talking these girls. They speak so politely and butifully. Pl. do not discourage them, just keep on listing the sweet voice and keep on imaging about the pretty face uttering those words. If it is a male voice - just tell him to shutup.
I do admit and understand the feeling of those get bothered by tele calls , but again you can politely say not interested and cut the phone and in case they call again (same caller) we can warn and leave them , please understand at the end of the day the concerend person ( tele caller ) is forced to work for livelihood and let's not make fun of them , it is better to shout than being sarcastic.
Be prepared for the worst if you get a call asking u to pay your credit card dues when you don't have that Bank's card. One pays heavy price for the Bank's mistakes.I recently went through nightmares for 3 weeks. Thanks to SBI cards(GE Capital). They called me to pay up.The Name was wrong, the address was wrong and I explained to them that they were calling the wrong person and that I don't have SBI card.I kept getting atleast 20 calls a day from morning 7 a.m.I complained to the GE capital office and they promised to help me but they did not.I threatened legal action but in vain.I was prepared to prove my identity but they did not seem interested. This can happen to anyone. And you can't do much.
It is best to respect every human as far as possible. At first decently tell them that you do not require the service. If it works well and good if not then letting loose all hell is justifiable. I once told a bank offering loans that I am willing to take any amount they can spare. The only condition is that it has to have a clause of being not repayable. That did the trick, click went the phone.
whenever a telemarketer perticularly investment or insurance one, calls you, simply show that you are very much interested and when they ask you your age say 75 yrs.
It happened with me that I got a SMS saying that I will get a call from a particular number on the next day at a particular time. They exactly called me up at the same time from the same given no. I think that is acceptable. Otherwise, I agree to give them a marriage proposal or to come to your place as the maid was on leave.
When a girl from citibank called me to take personal loan @ 24% p.a. I offered her the same at 18% and she said sir mujhe nahin chahiye . When I asked her to mujhe kya chahiye tha jo apne call kiya. From that day I never got a call from citibank. Similarly I was called from ABN AMRO for Credit card,I was in Night shift and sleeping at home in daytime when they called. I told them politely to plz not disturb as I am sleeping but I got two more calls and next day two another from the same no. to ask if I made up my mind It was a cell no. Next night I called at that no. at 2:30 am from office and asked the person " Sir you called me in the day but I was busy, now I am free so please describe me in detail your offer for the Credit card." He requested me to talk in morning but I insisted for it. After about 5 minutes he got irritated and yelled Sir ye koi time hai aap mujhe sone nahin de rahe. Then I said," I am trying to explian this to you for last two days now you understand how it feels so dont call me again or I will call you daily as I am in night shift for this whole month." This worked for me, You can try also

Let us show these people the light. Let us show these telemarketers the sin they are commiting. They are ignorant and need our compassion. Ultimately in the kingdom of heaven, there won't be any telemarketer for they will be in Hell along with Bush & Osama.
Treat these people with compassion for they do not know what hell is.
Let us make their life on earth better by being polite to them.

There is nothing wrong in what the telemarketers are doing. They are doing their job. Who are we to "forgive" them. For all we know, there may soon be a day when we would make most of purchases either online or thru telephone
