Well, First day in College was a bit of a muse. I happened to study directly in a university and not a college and ironically my Dad was also a HOD in that university though a different dept. Both of us belonged to the Engineering Department.
I remember the looks the staff and my classmates gave me when we were asked to introduce ourselves with our Dad'sd names and I said who I am. This till the end remained a bit of a plus point and a minus point.
The minus point being that I was always seen as the "HOD's daughter" and so hardly had few friends who moved with me very close to me. I was never known as myself. My individuality was most often lost.
The plus point being I was not ragged by the seniors. There was this particular group known to be a terror in ragging. When they asked me who I was, I told them I was the daughter of so and so. They immediately turned and discussed among themselves "Hey, better leave her alone. Danger Party." I laugh to myself this day when I think of it. Incidentally, that minute, my Dad was walking down the corridor though he hardly saw what was happening inside the classroom. The seniors however saw him and took to their heels.
Today my Dad is no more, but I cherish being known as "Our Professor's Daughter" by his students - some of them who have been my colleagues.
My first day at college was the inauguration day for the batch. Coming from a small college (actually i am talking about my B.E first day as my PU was similar to a extension to school). I went with my father we went around and found out the class room which I will have to go from the next day. It was i don%u2019t know what to say the feeling ... The feeling of unknown entity may be.
I was quite excited to enter college life. But on my first day at junior college all lectures were off.So i chatted n spend time with my old school friends n came home. And my first day at engg college i attended few lectures and got to know some friends. Now i hv finished my college life but overall it was tough.

I studied in boys high school.I joined PUC in tumkur(Karnataka) which was co-ed. College was very near to my house. I was happy to wear casuals for the first time to school. We had to do prayer in the field before going to class.We were surprised for that.Later we enjoyed that pray as we saw girls standing in opposite to us.So enjoyed prayer in that. Totally we were 9 friends joined together,So it was happy day for us.
MY first day in College was Pune from Kolkata. When I boarded the flight there were all tears in my eyes as I was going to a new city making it my home and never lived without my parets even for a single day. But there ws lot of nervousness but i very happy..to start a ne journey in life.hostel life is amust for every individual.
When I went to first day of my engineering and i entered into college someone said where r u going?Today is midterm so holiday starts so enjoy first day.:)
