Hi reena, My name is Suresh29/m/chennai but now working in Dubai as a Manager. I love travelling mostly riding my Thunderbird and my powered up Fod ikon all through the unexplored places. I visit india every 3 months and travel all around ok now the point is please dont say that it is impossible to travel because you are in INDIA. If there is a will there is a way and from what I have seen hte people from the smaller cities , towns, villages and elsewhere are more friendly , helpful. So go enjy yourself pursue your dreams coz we have just one life to live,

There is a beach apart from the one near the Harihareshwar temple. Very few people seem to mention it. Its one of the best that i have seen On the way to Harihareshwar from Shrivardhan, dont take the road for the temple ( righter of the two) take the other road thats relatively straighther. It goes to the beach. You could also ask for M.T.D.C. Tents.. The stay there can be wonderful... At night you can hear the sea.. No other sound ! heavenly experience.
Do not visit on weekends / near new year. Only drinkers around :(
