That is great but my son without even preparing for CAT scored percentile of 99.9 and i consider him doing exceptional. He just went to the exam hall appeared in the paper & that is it. FYI he is a final year student of Engineering in Delhi Vijay

Congrulations on your son's excellent and exceptional performance.
But all the students studying for CAT are not as brilliant as your son. I can understand that any father would feel proud of his son's achievement. But I would have liked to hear the same comments from your son. Because i feel that he definitely must have put in some efforts which you are either unaware of or you are simply ignoring his efforts. I too am a management student.
For those who are really trying to prepare by by the hard work and studies; your statement seem to be a little boastful. At least to me. Please do not mind, but your comment doesnt support the topic which provides valuable information to other students who are preparing for the CAT.
I appreciate the efforts and hard work put up by Siddharth and the advice to the CAT aspirant.

right indeed , anand..dear father, hope u understand a guy with no preparattion at all wont geet such a percent..without ur knwoledge , ur son wld hve stdied..also, its not a big thing to be boastful regarding ur sons achievemnet!! likewise, sidahrths father wld have aso ritten this!!! haha

sir, i also appeared for exam,I could not achieve the best as per as i deserve. i m working in s/w industry. work is essential as my finance stat. is in critical. i dabbling market news,reading news paper. but my focus is not on social things,like political issues which i hate drastically. what should i do to improve myself. i also have to balance my techy job.

uncle, plz wake up from sleep as early as possible...also wake your son too abt whose future achievements ,you r dreaming about...plz use pepsodent...may krrish bless u....99.9% with 0% preparation is something u can tell to greatest amoung the greatest fools...i hope even they too will laugh...have u seen CAT paper? Hi to all, i just want to mention dat percentle is differrent from percentage. Topper will got 100 percentile though he/she scored just 60% for that matter. Also, is it matter to anybody how much ur son scored??
Well u have just mentioned that siddharth agarwal topped di section with 86 %. please elaborate as to how he tackled the di section and what sort ofpreparation is needed for it..
