I would like to know if there are any benefits that NRI's can avail too and also the banks seem to make it look easy in their ads in getting a home or personal loan but when it actually comes down to giving they create a lot of problems. Why? I have faced it myself with many of the leading banks.

Hi Sunil, I am also an NRI. Last year I had faced same problem. You must have an NRI account and your downpayment or EMI it should paid by that NRI account only. Document Needed: 1. Passport and Visa copy. 2. Abroad company identity proof. 3. ARC or Residential proof at abroad. 4. Last 3 months salary slips. 5. Bank statement or passbook photo copy.
