Hi, Arti "congrats" word is small for your achievement.....I would like to ask is that my maths is fine but my english is not so much fluent and vocabulary is also not powerfule so.. 1. How much vocabulary is important in CAT?? 2. How much fluent english must necessary for CAT?
I know Aarti's excitement for cracking CAT,but believe me when you complete MBA after 2 years, you get to know that you have not done anything great!!!MBA is all about Man Management and getting things done in organised way, thinking outta box!!!And all you freshers out there believe me,even if you pass out of IIMs dont expect your salary to be more than 10 lacs, the reason being you are fresher, people around you though not from IIMs are experienced, nobody pays you only because you are from IIMs,corporates pay you because you work, second whatever salaries are disclosed in the media are only of people who have experience of about more than 5 years because corporates know they are worth that salary,FACT of LIFE:do the god damn MBA from any reputed college but prove yourself in corporate world by keeping yourself aware of the business world and knowing the tricks and trades of negotiation...keep onething in mind the only place where Gandhigiri wont work is BUSINESS so be shrewd is what all MBA should know...IIMs,SPJain,Somaiya,MET etc...doesnt matter than

Great Siddhesh that nice to hear such a kind of comment, what u said is 100% true as MBA is ofcourse an art which should come within by facing various issues even though it is personal never matters, but the way we tackle them really matters

It seems U R Jeleous. Just think if thats your name & all time it shows 'CAT 2006 topper Vinay Bavdekar' How will you feel??
Hi Arti Congrats.. I normally don%u2019t read this question answer page but today when I saw advise by a CAT Topper, I was curious to read it. Reason being that I also appeared for CAT 2003. I couldn%u2019t get through any of the CAT recognized colleges and finally cleared PG program in Fashion Management from NIFT. Today I am working in the fashion and retail industry. I am very Happy but I always wondered what went wrong in my CAT exam, as my father was very keen on me studying Finance. After reading your answers I agree that it is the mindset and the Temperament on the D-day that is very important. But don%u2019t you think that the intelligence and common sense is also a key player? All the best!!!
Congrats!I passed B com. Final this year.& preparing for CAT. I haven't joinrd any coaching class. Which books can I referred for clearing the CAT without coaching class. jitesh
