Bonus - need not be mentioned
by Prabhakaran T on Feb 19, 2007 12:09 PM  Permalink

Hi,
I personally believe asking bonus at the time of leaving creates a bad admosphere. It may be excluded.

Dont write one. Like the article says - it wastes everyone else's time. No one cares once you leave...

Resignation Letter
by Pravin Agrawal on Feb 16, 2007 01:50 PM  Permalink

It's simple and nice way to say Good Bye to an organisation. It will help us to leave a good taste behind. Simply nice.

UNREALISTIC
by Roopesh Bhat on Feb 15, 2007 03:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It looks catchy but this glossy picture can be shown only to the bosses who are understanding. The reality is not everyone is ready to discuss things as mentioned in the sample Resignation

I agree with this completely. Not every boss is open to discuss pending bonus etc...
And also I would like to add that its not good to mention the relieving date like its mentioned in this letter. It depends on the notice period according to company policies, you can't dictate your own trems.
