One question out of ignorance, Is there any relation betwee vivek obroi and this Obroi hotel?
the burj al arab is never photographed from the sea-side - only sideways and from the land because the supporting beam structure forms the WORLDS LARGEST CROSS when viewed up front ! The rooms are still fantastic and the bathroom toiletries are awesome !
The Oberoi Udaivilas, the luxury hotel in Udaipur has been rated the best hotel in the world. It also tops the lists for best small hotel and best hotel in Asia.
Not only the Udaivilas the best in the world, it is also the best in 'Asia'. Rediff, who is your scriptwriter ? If this is not a prime example of being frivolous, then you got me.

I guess there is a point in what you have written... but the 'Best Small Hotel' and 'Best Hotel in Asia' are different titles. So the hotel which has won the 'Best Small Hotel' not necessarily have to be the 'Best Hotel in the World'. It could be the 'Best Medium-size Hotel' or the 'Best Large Hotel'. However, it is obvious that the Oberoi Udaivilas being in Asia has to be the best hotel in Asia, if it is the best hotel in the world. The script / content writer has definitely made a slip here... he / she should have mentioned it casually (if at all wanted to) instead of being specific about the title, since it is understandable that the best hotel in the world would be the best in Asia, if the hotel is in Asia. Anyway, kudos to Rediff for highlighting the news and congrats to Oberoi Udaivilas for winning / being the best in the world!
