I think there is a mistake in the above article. I do think the most visited relegius places will be Mecca or tirupathi.
As i hail from tirupathi ,The weekly count by people is not less than 1 lakh and on 3 major holidays i.e Summer,Dussera and Christmas,It will three times the average weekly count.
In one of the discover travel and living programs,i came to know that Mecca is close to tirupathi.
Though Sabarimala is famous through out the country, it is unfortunate that proper facilities have not been done to the devotees thronging the shrine. The recent incidents viz., short supply of "Payasam", return of devotees without visiting the shrine for the first time in the history. All these show that a Communist Minister, non-believer of GOD, is least bothered about the Ayyappa devotees. Moreover, since the Kottayam District of Kerala is Christian dominated, whenever their festivals are taking place, they will not allow the vehicles of Ayappa devotees to pass through that area and the vehicles have to divert.
Who bothers? Because no respect for Hindus in this country

My Question, why the HINDUS in Kerala electing communist party all the time? The muslims in Kerala always vote only for Muslim League. X'ians in Kerala always vote only for Kerala Congress.. Why the Hindus Vote those non-believers of GOD?

If you ask your conscience, how many times the chennai roads are blocked for temple festivals, you will not make the last statement in your message again.
One lerned man said religion is worse than opium. Just see hoe many millions have been killed due to inter and intra religion wars between human beings. Nobody knows whether man created God or God created man. Why waste time and energy about the creation of this universe. It is very important that you be a good Indian and good human being before you are a good Hindu or good Muslim or good christian.

Well...where is the religion to b banned. If u got to ban something, then it should exist.I am taught the lesson 1 of being human is to show compassion to each and every being coz u feel for each and every being. And if u r a religious, u feel for the sons and daughters of the lord.Where' the mercy.Open up slaughter houses for poor animals to bear out all the pain and bombs and weapons for bear out all the feelings.Where the mercy? It is to be learned.Tht is humane

The wise man killed more than half of his country men to purify them of religion and supported monsters who killed more outside.
The same religion of Marx is now used as opium by the naxals before they go on killing spree

i am sorry that you feel this way. However, it is not religion (per se) that kills, but the interpretation of religion that kills. So, I don't think any of the earlier religion was to blame for violence, but subsequent followers maligned it in their own way causing heavy destruction.

But sanscrit is as dead as of Latin,Greek. A dead language has no meaning and Appeal. There is no point in adoring the dead people. It only creats odor, better you bury it.

One day your father will also become old, it doesn't mean you bury it.

Sanskrit is the greatest language. Even foreigners and scientists like Einstein have accepted it. Sanskrit is our culture, our heritage we must cherish it. Those who do not know its value are foolish morons.
The very devotees who observe strict code of conduct during Deeksha become unconcerned on the serinity of Sabari hills and pampa river.devotees through everything including their undergarments in to the river once they renounce the deeksha. The devotees dedication should be motivated towards maintaining the clean environs of the shrine and its soroundings
I have been to sabrimala, unfortunatly we do not have any respect for the environment, we spoil the palce so badly that it will take years to recover, sabrimala's ecosystem is one like that. I wish Govt puts some control around it, charge a fee to all who visit the place and use that money to make some decent arangements around the place.
There is a similarity in Sabarimala & mecaa! May be not in other holy places. I mean in dress code. In sabarimala all devoties are in black dress but mecca all in white.

Because the main actor is from one religion. The actress is from another religion and the audiences are from all the religions.
