''Expect the unexpected''???!
by Vicky on Sep 21, 2006 05:16 PM  Permalink

If you keep on expecting the unexpected, then sooner than later you will ignore the expected!
And then when the expected happens you will look like a fool because you were not expecting it!

How will I make students to crack CAT
by Priya Varat Singh on Sep 21, 2006 03:32 PM  Permalink

Well, First off all let me say that this article surely will decrease some burden from student's mind about CAT attitude.
It too gave me some points for my students whom I am preparing for this "Queen of all the compitition".
I always say students Know your inner strengths and then attack on the paper according to that and I know it works as each has his strength and weekness.

Intelligent n excellent contd..
by M on Sep 20, 2006 11:42 PM  Permalink

yet the author very intelligently skips the area of Quant which has long been a thorn in the flesh of most people. reasoning is simple ppl strong in quant alone or weak in quant will find it tough.. weaker guys will find it hard to clear the cut off ansd stronger guys will find it hard to maximize thir scores.. as quant is more time consuming than VA or RC.

ideally a person with excellent vocab and grammar, good reasoning and problem solving skills and average speed with maximum accuracy stans to nail the bitch (read CAT)

The article is enlightning. However, somehow, I don't feel comfortable with the insight on R.C. One cannot afford to miss or ignore RC, as the maximum no. of questions come from the area and with good reading speed and techniques, one can crack it.
