PF Clearance
by Ashutosh on Nov 22, 2006 03:13 PM  Permalink

I worked with an Indian MNC, Pvt Ltd. company for around 2 years, and then I joined somewhere else. I had to join in the next company immediatly, so, I resigned without giving any notice. Now its been more than 1 year I resigned, can i directly submit the form to the PF department with a Gazetted officer sign on it, as my previous employer will not sign the form until i pay them one month salary as per notice period policy. Is it acceptable per PF guidlines and regulations.

Delay in getting PF from ex-employer
by Preet on Nov 01, 2006 10:25 AM  Permalink

Hi,

I resigned my previous company 6 months back and they took 4 months to deposit my PF forms with the PF office, after my sumission of forms to them. Now they are not even providing me any proof/evidence/receipt of submission of my PF forms so that I can check directly with the PF office and are saying that it'll still take 3-4 months for the amount to be credited to my account. Does PF withdrawl takes so long and is there any way where I can take this issue up with the ex-employer of holding the PF forms for 4 months without any information on that to me!! Please help!

Need Practical Advise
by PF Victim on Oct 01, 2006 11:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I resigned for an organisation in Mumbai in Nov 2004
after giving them a notice of 15 days which was
acceptable to them then. Now its almost two years & I
have not received my full & final settlement amount
nor are they releasing my PF.

On enquiring with them they claim that they need to
recover some money paid to me extra in my salary. Only
after I return that money by DD payable at Delhi will
thet release my PF money.

I dont mind paying money provided what they claim is
correct. I have calculated & verified everything &
according to me I do not owe them any thing. But they
are not ready to listen nor are they releasing the
payment.

Please help me get my PF. Awaiting your kind & clever
reply.

sir please contact pf commissioner of your area. you have to give a strong complaint letter against yr ex-eplyr , application form with attestation of bank manager and bank pass books photocopy.if your ex-employer not responding, pf commissioner will depute a officer from his office to take sign of your employer, sign of ex-emlyr is only a formality, without which also, within three months pf amount will be credited in your account.you do not need to go any where, not even in pf office (or to your ex-emplyr). all these procedure can be done by drafting letters from yr home.

employeers holding back the PF
by Debjani Banerjee on Sep 09, 2006 12:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

i want to share my ill experience with one of my ex-employer. i was working in the kolkata branch of an e-commerce company whose HO was in Bangalore.first of all when i was in service i feel that the company has not deposited my PF which they deducted from my salary as initially they were sending me Salary slip but after few months they stopped sending it. i made several reminders over phone/mail but they do not feel to respond. after leaving i sent the filled PF forms but no response came from them though i had sent several reminders to them. now the idea of going from Kolkata to Bangalore to collect my PF after seeing such attitude was not very practical to me as the amount was around ten to twelve thousand rupees. but definitely if it is a very big amount i can say such employers can make a mess of their employees' life. in this case i think there is no strong law which can protect the interest of the employees staying in other states.

Why the employer or gazette officer and why not the employee signature .. It is his money and his signature should suffice..

I don't understand why this rule??

I think we need to take this seriously...
