One of my friend with 6 years of experience with various MNCs went for interview in anothe Indian big Software company. And they rejected him saying that he dont have 70% in his 10th class!. how foolish. There are some indian companies like these who feel that ur degree and the marks u got in ur degree or tenth is more important than ur experience. Thats not fair
No. The key phenomenon in an entreprenuer's success is experience/exposure and degrees add value to this. Academic record will definitely help in taking decision more faster in relevancy from time to time. The more exercise you do the more ideas you generate. Shankar, Hyderabad - Cell 9849692969.
definitely experience counts more than degrees. that's coz exams are conducted in munna bhai style and assignments are a cut and paste process. it's all about learning the ropes of a job, putting your heart and soul into it and having a passion for improvisation and a vision.
I believe education is just one of the ways of attaining knowledge. It is knowledge that makes the difference, whether earned through schooling or through hands-on work. It is the knowledge one has that makes the difference in terms of success at the end of the day.
However it may be remembered that not everyone can be driven or focussed enough to keep learning on their own and bettering themselves while working. For them, completing their degrees is an obvious choice. Otherwise, nothing like hands-on experience combined with a mind that is open to constant learning, that seeks more knowledge.
Degrees bring a certain amount of confidence in certain individuals but are not critical for success. However that confidence is critical, and if one is inherently confident (about constantly bettering oneself)... work experience is the best option.
Basic knowledge enhances the individual output in technically related field. However, once you practice anything for a period of time with devotion you become the master of it whether you are technically sound or otherwise. To achieve success in the Corporate World, essentially training and practice makes a person competent. Therefore my view is average education with continuous practice will be adequate to discharge duties efficiently.
As far as iam concerned work experience enables us to gain more practical knowledge than theoritical.Degrees are just to have a basic knowledge on the subject and to get a certificate.work experience is more than 10 degrees.
In India degrees are worth more than your work experience. You can't go up the corporate ladder only based on your experience and performance. They expect you to have a degree.....whereas in UK, the situation is different. Work experience is priority...everything else follows...
Indeed work experience is more worthier than a degree.A person who has worked has abundance of industrial experience. He tends to be more practical than the person with a degree.A degree with experience will work good.
