While registering to the job sites, be ready to fill the 10 page registration form !! Most of the sites i have seen are catering to IT doimain, Where Project name, duration in a project etc are mandatory. If you are looking for an accountant's or banker job, you will be quiting these sites without filling these forms. I bet.

Hi,
The forms required for posting your CV are comprehensive and lengthy in order to capture/store information which is sear to sort by the recruiter/consultant, who would look for a jobseeker like you.

It may seem cumbersome, but is essential for a quality response.

Tips for your online job search
by Mr.P.J.LAKHAPATE on Oct 21, 2006 11:21 AM  Permalink

Article is good.

However job search is very tedious and time consuming and expensive especially when someone is unemployed.

The key is get the first job with whatever salary it may be and then keep on switching the job.

by Vivek on Oct 19, 2006 02:00 PM  Permalink

Thanks for these good tips to find a job on the net but my experience says that these sites are mainly working for experience peoples, Freshers hardly get a call from such sites. And if there are jobs for freshers than most of the time they doesnt suits the job seeker profile.Wel still we have to rely on this medium upto some extent.....this is strugle....all the best to everybody
