the nutritionist mentions that i glass of juice gives calories of 6 oranges without the nutrition!!...that is absolutely incorrect...health experts all over the world suggest eating 5 portions of fruit and veg a day and recommend having fruit juice as one way of meeting this daily food intake as this helps in reducing the risk of heart disease, cancer and stroke if not sure check the UK national health service's five a day campaign and cancer research...cant believe that a nutritionist is giving such nonsensical advice!!!...wonder how they call themselves experts
I cant beleive that a so called nutritionist is recommending drinking a diet fizzy drink instead of having a juice!!!...what a lop sided view...juices are a much healthier option and unlike what many people and this 'nutritionist' thinks, do not lose the fibres during juicing. Yes you can eat the fruit, but I am sure doesn't look like a good idea when you are out with friends for a drink!!! diet colas and fizzy drinks are worst of the lot and definitely should not be recommended as they are proven to harm the body, asparatame is a sweetener used in them which is known to cause cancer and diet drinks can weaken bones.and they can be very addictive hence leading to a lot of harm..and on top of that Ms. Nutritionist is recommending sweeteners which again have asparatame ...i am appalled
hey excellent article!what a cool idea to relate the calories in the food to the amount of exercise one would have to do to burn it off! keep it up rediff & Ms Goel.We need experts like u!
