Hi, I want to share a bad experience at Indijoe, wherein couple of my friends had buffet and got hospitalized due to Leptospirosis. Doctors said it might happen if food is contaminated by rat's urine. Also, ours was not a one-off case, since many groups who had food with us also fell ill. The price and the number of IT companies around Indijoe contribute to its "success". So just beware.
Now i wonder, what new, ppl can come up after this kind of stealth advertisements! All the way round, nobody would like to shell out Rs350 or so just for starters, atleast not the middle class man! If its specifically targeted for the high class fools, rediff should exclusively mention it before posting such kind of articles. Avg bangaloreans never go to such kind of Restaurants, there are enough "sagar" Restaurants here. Come to blore and u'll know it urself where ppl actually go to quench the appetite!!
I presume either ur not someone who goes out a lot or someone who hasnt visited bangalore in the past few years.Well i think now a days there is more emphasis on quality and taste and nobody really cares abt the cost as long as the delicacies please the refined palate. If u think indijoe is expensive for the kind of food they serve and the ambience u probably havent been to any good restaurents or the ones which define class. And considering the crowd which come there and the hoards of pre bookings .Dude i think u need a reality check before making statements.More so i am sure many people ould defiantely agree with me .
Indijoe has very poor hygiene. There have been several cases of food poisoning (incl. my friend himself). My advice - Even if you are starving to death, this is NOT the place to eat.
all the foods mentioned are very expensive.and all the other restaurants mentioned like chandni chowk, and other crap and all are not frequented by many.and hence rediff becomes a place of advertisement and everything said is positive.nothing negative is said at all.a year from now and most of the restaurants that have been listed or rather boasted will be closed down.just because it is expensive doesnt mean it is good.

Hi Jayanth, Chandni Chowk and Indijoe have their presence in Blore from quite some time.Indijoe belongs to the renouned BJN group.Ofcourse, the prices mentioned here are slightly upwards, but compared to the other places I have been , this is value for money. The prices are not the sole criteria for judging a restaurant. This place churns out quality stuff. No wonder, its difficult to find place. I think before commenting we need to get our facts straight. Also for your point, this column is advertisement.I do agree that the restaurant gets publicity because of this. But it also helps the foodie fraternity to be in a better position before choosing a place for dining.

Can i expect Rediff to post my previous post?? Its been over a day now. This is a formal request to rediff for publishing it so that public can also know what bangaloreans think about this article and how much truth it has got.
You travel in any place in Karnataka. Why the hotel food are costlier. Recently I travelled through Trichy, Tanjavoor, Kumbhakonam and other places in Tamil Naadu. For a person of average income, the breakfast is affordable in quality and quantity and a good lunch is available for Rs.20/-. Whereas you travel little interior from Bangalore the size of coffe plastic cup shrinks and the rate is Rs.5/- and above only.
