I m doing B.E.,it is ought to complete.I m planning to write CAT in 2006,i want to do MBA from IIMs only.So,if i spent 1 year after my graduation only for CAT preparation,would that be considered as my negative point at that time of interviews at IIMs,i think if i will go for job i wont be able to get into iims.So could u suggest me what should i do?
I got 98.96 percentile overall with no calls from IIMs. The break up being -- 99.83 in quant, 80.74 in Verbal and 96.78 in DI. Should I opt for CAT 2006. Last time in CAT 2004 I had 94.35 percentile with 63.35 in Verbal and around 96 in others. Currently I am working for last 7 months. I did a BSc in Chemistry Prior to this, completed in June 2005.

Hi.Im planning to take CAT next year.But my grades at college are not that great[currently averaging at 77-82%].How much of weightage is given to facts like that? Will these be used as a means of elimination/selection?
