This is a good piece. I am totally against this English speaking elites.
I always face lots of problem with my communication and with my writings. There are few reasons:
1. Till X Std I studied all my subjects in my school using my mother tongue. 2. I am used to think only in my mother language, both in terms of grammer usage, slang & vocabulary usages; 3. I have found it very difficult to change my thinking to adapt myself in English. 4. Frequency of continuous English usage is very limited in our country except on few occasions.
I am right now a confussed soul; though I am confident in handling conversations with any one I feel my originality is lost since I feel I am best only if I can think, talk and write using my mother language.
