Read comics to improve your Grammer!
by Ravi Kiran on Jul 21, 2006 05:11 PM  Permalink

It may sound Funny to most of you, but this is the fact...You can improove your english (grammer) by reading many of those Childrens Comics available in the market..EX: Tinkle, Amarchitra katha, Mandrake, Phantom, etc...
Since these comics have 'Dialogs' which represent Direct speech, and if you read them continuously for a consistently long time, you will drastically improove on your communicating skills(speaking).

After this, One needs to work on their Spellings!

Hope and wish this helps you all.

Improve Your English
by Aarti on Jul 21, 2006 03:51 PM  Permalink

Hi,

I have been doing this for past few months and have already improved a lot. As Rukhmani said it's very much necessary to review those words periodically.

Besides I always keep my ears open for words that i hear from others and the usage which really helps. Also you can join discussion forums where you get to read so many new articles and also share your views.

want to speak eng
by RIA on Jun 02, 2006 03:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have been surfing many sites but that makes me more confuse coz the language is so vast that I don't know from where to start. Should I start from Parts of speech. I also have wren & martin but the problem is ,should I also refer to complex sentense & other types. Say even in Noun we have so many types. Also I don't know from whom to correct my pronounciation. Whenever I am speaking in Eng, I constantly worried about my tenses. Please guide me.

Thanks
Ria
