Starting a conversation is the key
by ejaz on Oct 11, 2006 04:39 PM  Permalink

I can understand english well and even I can write english conversations without any errors. But when comes to speaking english, I always confuse how to start and what should I speak first to the other person and I end up keeping calm even though I have ability to speak in english. This is the big problem I face wherever I go.

Please give me some tips as to how to begin conversations.

Reading is good but please read works by British authors as most Indians writing in newspapers, magazines and even on rediff lack command over the language and commit many silly mistakes.
