regarding M1visa
by giri raj on Feb 04, 2010 08:45 PM  Permalink

i was rejected twice for my M1 visa to pursue my flight training in the u.s . my sponsor who is my mother . her account showed $88,000 and more than $600,000 in property and my assets totalled to 75000$. i have a 2 with maths n physics which is the basic requirement. yet i got rejected. i spend 20,000rs on every trip of mine. the 2nd interview i went for he didnt bother looking at my new documentation or property. he kept asking me why im going to the usa. i said since i can complete my course in 6 months and the availability of aircraft so i can get my license soon and take advantage of the aviation boom in india. he kept correcting me and saying the course takes a year. they have destroyed my ambition and dream of becoming a pilot.

Richard,
My wife is currently working for a company in US on H1. I'm working in London on Work permit. I want to visit my wife in US (say once in a month) I also hold a valid L1 visa with my current company (although i've never travelled). Will my L1 be cancelled if i apply for US visiting visa from UK? Will really appreciate your help in this regard.

Thanks
