Be cool and solve resnik and halliday, h c verma for physics. k.c sinha in all topics in maths and if you can in addition do thomas and finney for calculus, loney for trigo and coordinate, hall and knight for algebra. and for chemistry do solemon for organic, o.p aggarwal for all and morrison boyd and j d lee is also prescribed and also for problem solving must do the scaum's outline series in chemistry. I was there in Katwari Sarai and kalu sarai near Munirica of new delhi. I have seen the life style of IITs aspirants. Their exposed dress, lavish food,live together ,& enjoyment, put me little doubt, whether this is life style of brilliant people who will be top eangineers of tomoroow and build our India. I have read the top M Techs/B Techs suggestion. Every body eamphasis on hard work. But if you are a indiscpline in your life, how you will with -stand hard work. I went to IIT Bombay for M.Tech. in Computer Science.
My advise to young aspirants is that they should learn to value time, have a schedule of study which they should abide by, when studying try and appreciate the knowledge in the books, ask the question why and what next, and enjoy the studies. Its not called hard work, its called appreciation of the engineering knowledge, the desire to know it all, and put it to use. Desire to innovate is the next step.

sir i am now studying in 10th n i want 2 b an iitian . i am very much nterested 2 do phy n maths n i do get very much confused n tensed for dis subs .though i slove da hard probs but it takes a lot of time n i hv a mentality dat i need sum teacher beside me everytime 2 slove da probs .i want 2 b very strong in maths n physics .sugest som tips for dis n abt iit preparations.
