Dear Sir,

I am a hospitality management graduate. The B.A. in Hospitality management degree that I possess is affiliated to Robert Gordon University Aberdeen Scotland. However I do have a 3 yrs diploma for the same which is A.I.C.T.E approved , it was a 3 yrs diploma and degree programme from Institute Of Advanced Management Salt Lake Kolkata. Now my query is am I eligible to get an admission to any of the top Govt. colleges in India if i crack my CAT and XAT will my qualification suffice of me getting admitted into any of the top management schools in India i.e. IIMs XLRI XIMB etc. If not , kindly give me an alternative.

Regards,

guidance req. for MBA
by Ashish Ramawat on Sep 11, 2006 01:55 PM  Permalink

Dear
I am currently undergoing articleship training (postCA PE-II) at price waterhouse coopeers Mumbai from 6.9.2006 & wish to appear for CAT examinations after CA Final in Nov 08 .I just wanted to know what can I do currently alongwith my busy schedule which wouid help me in CAT examinations. Also guide me if there is any other MBA entrance which would provide a better mix up alongwith CA degree, but I would like to mention one thing that I am more interested in MBA than CA & would always love go on with a Management oriented profession. I feel management is in my blood. I enrolled for CA just because I thought what to do until my B.Com completes but now when I am in this field I feel attached to it also but my interest towards management does & will always superceede everything else.I would also like to mention that I am having very keen interest to work at any CONSUMER GOODS INDUSTRY like HLL or Qadbury etc.& I am sure my interest in consumer goods industry&management will do wonders & can make the task bit easier for me.PLEASE GUIDE TO MY BRIGHT FUTURE IN MANAGEMENT.
