RE:F 2 Visa

You can go on an F-2 visa. However, your spouse will have to show suficient funds to get an I-20 in your name from the University. The university will provide your details about minimum financial requirements. Also, you have to pay for spouse health insurance, which would be around double of what you would be paying as a student.

1st of all i feel really soory that u couldn't get ur visa. i also did mca in india and now i am doing ms in usa. i have been in usa since last 2 yrs. i told visa officer that eventhgough i did mca but now i am going to do specialization in computer graphics. actually i got admission in ms in comp sc in comp graphics. i am not sure about ur program. but i do believe ur program must have one specialization. and tell visa officer that u r really interested to do specialization in that line. in india, u can't do specialization in that line. i do believe that u have to convince visa officer that u r really interested to do ur specialization in that line as u will get good job in india after completing ur ms degree. but in india u can't study in that specialization.
