I am currently doing MS in Electrical Engg (Communications Engg) from University of Stuttgart Germany. I want to apply to top 20 US graduate schools for Phd in the same field. But I am just stuck with my low GRE verbal score. The rest of my credentials are:
Undergraduate GPA: 3.8/4.0 (NUST Pakistan)
Last 2 years UG GPA: 4.0/4.0
GRE Scores: 770 + 300 + 4.0
TOEFL: 101 (IBT)
MS GPA: 1.8/1.0 (German system)
5 IEEE International Publications
No funding required by grad schools. Already on scholarship from my UG University
2 years excellant work experience in R & D
TAships of 4 core subjects of Communications Engg.
So please would you tell me what are the chances of my admission.Your suggestions about admission and to which schools should I apply to be on safe side would be helpful
I intend doing PhD in USA in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences in the field of Bio Chemistry or Cell Biology but am in a fix which college to apply to. My marks are 91% in 10th 79% in 12th, 72% in Graduation and 72% in MSc 1st yr. In october 06 I will appear for TOEFL & GRE. I am preparing for that. Can anybody immediately help me in identifying any reasonably good colleges. I am perturbed. Pls help.
I am a student from Pune, pursuing my undergraduate course (BBA) of 3yrs from The Indian Institute of Planning and Management, Pune. At the end of the course, I will have 12 + 3 yrs of education.
Since IIPM offers a degree of graduation affiliated to IMI, Europe and is not affiliated to any Indian University for degree, I would like to know if I coulde pursue a further management course through GMAT.
The arisal of this doubt is from the fact that the universities in US need:
1) 12 + 4 yrs of education and
2) an Indian University degree
for the application. I would like you to answer if I am eligible for application to the Universities in US under these circumstances. If not, I would request you to please clarify.
I would also like to ask if I can apply for the same if I pursue a degree from University of Pune externally.
i have done my post graduation in chemistry.what are the i can get myself prepared for GRE?please give me the infrmation on the layman basis as i am totally a fresher in this arena.
