Hi;I am appearing for GRE for fall(august2007)session.Iwant to enquire about the Ph.d programme in biological sciences at US universities & whether schloarship or assistantship are easily available for Ph.d as compared to MS or MBA.A good gre & tofel score is enough for getting into a good university with good schloarship. What are the job prospects after doing or during the Ph.d programme in biological sciences.

You will get 100% fee waiver and stipend to support you.Future is good, if you have worked hard.
With an experience of 1.5 years [If I go for the FEB Intake for an MBA], I get following university options:
1) RMIT University
2) University of Technology, Sydney
3) Griffith University
4) Curtin University
I would appreciate if you help me out with the following doubts that I have it in my mind:
1) Which among the above mentioned universities hold a good stand and have good future prospects in Australia and in India too?
2) I guess if you want to work in Australia after the studies, then in that case you require the PRright?
a. If yes, then will MBA provide me the required PR [I think you require some 120 points for the PR].
b. If No, then is there any other alternative to work in Australia after the MBA?
3) Is there any scholarship provided for pursuing an MBA in Australia?
4) Last but not the least, a very general Question, Is it worth doing an MBA in Australia with an exp of 1.5 years?
5) If not MBA, then what all business courses in Australia can benefit me in attaining the PR in australia and also doing work therea and it would benefit me afterwards india.

Finite element analysis is a tool which you use to analyze various structural, thermal problems. So I would suggest you look through the ME department research pages, and see in what aplication areas (in which you can use FEA) research is going on. Then apply for the subject area, which is of interest to you.
This is Bipin, I am a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University and have 6 years of experience in IT - Networking Doamin. To my credit I have also achieved certifications like DNIIT, CCNA, CCNP and CQFS (Firewall Specialist). Do I still have to go for another 1 year of academic study or 15 years of this academics of would suffice. Also, would like to have some guidance on how to approach Universities in US?

1. Show "can do" attitude. 2. Show how you can solve "their" problem. 3. Show what you have learnt and how you are going to use it. 4. Market yourself. 5. Network with relevant people. 6. A bit of luck!

You can apply for that course. That course is not very competitive.
