doubt in my eligibility
by anonymous on Sep 01, 2006 07:13 PM  Permalink

Hi everybody,

i have completed my B.Sc(Applied Science) in IT. passing out with 70%, i joined mca(master of computer applications) which is 3 yr course.

for the entrance test to mca i got a rank of 48 out of 40,000~ students appearing.

right now iam in the final yr. so very well i satisfy the requirement of 16+ yrs of education. but the problem is, in the middle of the course due to health problems and some personal reasons i was not able to concentrate in my studies properly and had nearly 14 arrears. half of which i cleared this sem and the remaining half i'll clear in the next sem. so while completing the mca course i'll clear all the arrears and will come out with a degree.

but will US universities accept students with this profile, do i have a chance to get an admission in any one of the average rated universities.

suggestions from u will really help me in making some decision. Thanks in advance!
