If he is on H-1B then you are able to come on H4. In previous msg you wrote that he had applied for green card, in that case you cant apply for H4.
Ask your husband to consult his company to sponser you as soon as possible. It may take upto three months for you to get the visa interview date.

H4 is easiest visa to get. Get all the relevent docs from ur husband (copy of his pay stubs, copy of h1 approval, all the pages of passport, marriage certificate etc), take an appointment with embassy and get stamped.

Can my wife study in US without appearing GRE or TOEFL? She is on H4
by Sanjay on Sep 19, 2006 09:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi Guys,

My wife will come to US on H4 so she wants to study thr. She wants to join some course for undergraduatation. So will she need to appear for GRE and TOEFL?
I don't want to get her in a very high level uni. but a simple one.
And is there anyway she can get admission without passing GRE or TOEFL? Or she must pass them?

Can you give me some information related to the above?
And can you tell me some course which helps her in getting a job and it should not be much tougher?

Thanks and Regards,
Sanjay Patel

For undergrad you will need TOEFL and SAT. GRE is given for post graduation. Any good university will ask for these exams.

There are several other universities which offer MBA in Newyork. Cornell is one of them. NYU is also very reputed university. But make sure that you have enough financial support especially if you are in newyork.

Western Kentucky University
by dr_abhishekh on Sep 18, 2006 05:29 PM  Permalink

Hello friend,

I am planning to do a Masters in Health Administration in Western Kentucky University.

I have not yet applied or accepted...

Bu seems like I can only afford this university since it offers Out of state tuition waivers to all international students and the fees are like 4450 USD per semester.

I wish to know if my decision to pursue this university hard enough to get into it is appropriate...how is this uni... and Bowling Green...

Any help will really appreciated...

Abhishek
