hello buddy, the sessions really depend on the universities. However mainly two sessions that is the fall and the spring are the ones when a lot of students from india and elsewhere take up the course. The spring session starts in Jan and the fall in jun-jul(or maybe later). You can easily take up good courses and the chances of you getting through are quite good since you are currently working in your respective field. You could go to the University of North Carolina, Charlotte website(www.uncc.edu) and check for your desired field of study. I guess this univ. has something for the electronics guys(I am from comps).

Getting Started - A bit Confused !
by Jay on Oct 14, 2006 12:35 PM  Permalink

Hi,
1.Will yu be kind enough to tell me, what are the when courses start generally in the American universities?(I have heard of Winter and fall sessions)- when do they actually start.
2. I have done my B.Tech in Electronics and Comm, and am currently working in an IT company here in India - I would like to go for an MS and then for and MBS there. Could you tell me if this is feasable as I am not sure which Major I should be taking for the MS- As I did my Electronics & Comm (B.Tech) but am working as a Software Engr.
3. Ultimately the final goal is to secure a good job with a good pay be it here or the States. Can i directly go for a MBA now, or would the job prospects be better if i go for a MS and then an MBA.?
Thanking you in Anticipation.
