Check this site for PhD related information. It has a listing of all PhD granting institutions.

If you want to do PhD in USA you should have very strong recommendations from India. You should be secure 95+ percentile on GMAT.
GMAT is not the primary criteria when you are taking about PhD programs. Your experience too counts a lot. Usually a 2 year experience is considered very little for a PhD program.
Check the average GMAT score, and Average Experience for management schools at USA Today.

Your relative can only help with finances nothing more than that. With BBA you will not get good school. Anyway if you get admission you may not get visa. So finish 16yrs of education and then apply. It is very hard to get any financial aid in MBA curriculum.
My son who is now in the final year of degree course in Hotel management, in India, wishes to contine his further studies in Culinary Institute of America (CIA).I am looking forward to any student currently studying there to give his comments/opinion on the courses offered there for becoming a CHEF.

J1 visa is tenure based and so has the requirement of going back to India after the end of visa term. As far as I know it is not possible to change it to F1 while in US. But it would be better to check with the people who have sponsored you for J1.
There is also a 2-year home residency requirement for J1, i.e., you have to stay in India for 2 years after the visa expires. However, it can be waived in some situations depending on the occupation and education qualifications of the visa holder.

Many people want to know about medical studies in US. If you have completed MBBS in India you are eligible to apply for USMLE. There are 3exams. Step1 and Step2Clinical knowledge that can be taken in India. For Step2 CS and Step3 you have to come to the US.
COming to US is one of the biggest hurdles. WHat mos people do is apply for PhD or Masters in a related field of biology or public health and come here on a student (F1) visa. While completing your coursework you can appear for the exams. You also get a degree that will be useful to you for a fellowship. On the side lines you can also get a few american reco letters and US clinical experience. If you get financial aid while you study that will also go a long way. That is one of the best options. IF you are doing a Post graduation you can come here for a poster presentation for a conference. That will give you good contacts and a multiple entry visa to come for exams and interviews.
I dont know much about this route but you can apply to an osteopathic medicine school and then give USMLE.
Many people start liking the research they get into and emerge big guns in fileds like Nanotechnology. Certainly an option to consider.
