I want to do One year course in Investment Banking and from a college through which I can get a good Job kindly suggest colleges that are acoording to my requirements
I am father of a son who at present is studying in class X(ICSE)in Mumbai. He intends to take up the course in MBA(Finance)in US after XII. Whether it will be advisable to do his XI & XII in IB curriculum in reputed institution in Mumbai? Which exam is advisable to get cleared in Mumbai when a student is going for such study in US? Whcih are good institution/colleges/university which are offering the course on MBA(Finance)? Inquiry is made well in advance as he can plan his study after X for which exams are scheduled in Feb 2007.

MBA is US after 12th, hmmmmm!!! What should I say, let me tell you that doing MBA here means you should have 12+4 yrs of bachelors degree and also 3-5 years of experience. So, tell your son to work hard for another 8-10 years before thinking about MBA from US. Apart from that between 30-50 lacs in cash because funding is almost nil in good business schools here.

Myself Ashish Jain, I have done ME (Computer Engg), have 5 years of teaching expereince. I want to take admission in PhD in US. But till now, I don't have research expereince. So, can I get admission in PhD in USA only after qualifying GRE and TOEFL ? OR Research expereince must be needed ? Second thing, I also want to know about scholarship.

teaching experince will give you advantage but research experience is more important.Funding you can easily get once you will get admit in PHD program. I will suggest you to try to publish couple of research papers in good papers and get good reco letters from professors.

1st of all u will get admission into phd. u have so many yrs teaching experience. there r so many univs which need teaching exp for phd student. if ur gre score is good, u could get assistantship also. plz try go get such type of univs where phd students have to teach some courses.
Hi, I Have already applied for Some universities in USfor Spring'07 before I take My GRE with an Expected score of 1000.But now I got only 900 Which dissapointed me? Will I get an I20 from those univ.accepting my real Scores in GRE. And, What If I retake my exam in the MID of Sept'06. Will the time be sufucient for getting my score cards and I20's??Please Help ME out ! Please suggest me,Should I retake the Gre? the Universities which I have applied for is:

i am a mechanical engineering graduate with an aggregate of 65%. i've scored an overall band of 7 in IELTS.also i have recieved calls from university of LEEDS, Northumbria university.(both in U.K) for MSc in mechanical engineering. i have also applied to university of western australia for Msc in petroleum engineering.
now i am a bit confused as to which University is best for me.i am also considering GRE.
1:-i want to study and live at the place where the career prospects are brightest and employement is plenty.
2:- is it worth waiting for an year to go to USA after taking GRE?? or shud i continue with my studies without a break and go to U.K or Australia???
3:- the course in U.K shall commence from september-06 ans australia in march-07
