Dear Karan, I am in Sydney now. I have done BTech(CSE) and have 11.5 years of work experience in IT. I want to do MBA. Which is the best Australian university to do it? Do I need to give GMAT and TOEFL or are they only for US universities? In Australia, they have something called IELTS.. Please clarify!

by on Jan 16, 2007 11:48 AM  Permalink

I am 53 and a female with a BA from a big ten US University in a science field. I have been self-employed in my small business for 25 years, and will be applying for an MBA. My gmat is 610 and I have also a certificate in business from the U. of Pennsylvania, and have also completed the College for Financial Planning professional program. I plan on applying for an AACSB online mba. My purpose in wanting an mba is to help me in my own business and for personal growth. I do not want an executive program as I am paying for this, and I do not prefer a cohort program. Any advice for someone with this profile?

Thank you.
Karen

Need suggestions
by deepti on Dec 14, 2006 11:14 PM  Permalink

I am Deepti. I have completed BE, CSE from RVCE Bangalore and i am
currently working for EMC data storage systems. I want to pursue my
higher education. I recently got to know about the course Master of
Business IT. I am very interested in the course. I found out that it
is offered in University of Melbourne and Australain National
university in Australia. These are very reputed colleges. But how well
are they known in India and among organizations. I am not very well
off. I will be studying by taking loan. So will it be worth to spend
so much and study in Australia. I have heard many people say that
education in UK is better than Australia. Is this true? Atleast do
oraganizations have similar thoughts. I want to come back to India
soon. i want to work there only to pay my loans. I also found that the
course is offered in Manchester University UK. Could you please guide
me on which one to choose among these options. I want to study in a
good university which is affordable and reputed esp in India because i
want to come back here and work.

Thanks a lot for patiently reading this mail.

Regards,
Deepti
