by Felroy Dsouza on Jan 12, 2011 09:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

hi guys,
If i have invested in a Tax benefit MF. It obviously has a 3 year lockin period. My question is can I stop paying the SIP after 1.5 years. What would be the implication in terms on receiving tax benefit & do i need to pay any penalty for the remaining 1.5 years.

hello
no returns on SIPs never depends on market conditions.

see dr are various sips,u need to decide in which SIP u want to invest.Suppose You invest 12000 in an year u'll get 20% of this amount at the end ,this is an average case.
