I think, there shoud be a seperate in REDIFF section of such kind of useful info. As the companies pattern goes on changing, so that anyone can get such info from this section.
My name is chanti, I am working in the field of call centres since two years, what I observed n myself is that I speak too fast and I am not able to control the fast speaking. I tried lots of times but not ale to control. Even my friends suggested me to speak slow.
Can you please suggest me what shall I do to control the speed..

Dear Chanti,
Your problem is your rate of speech is too high. This is a major issue with many of us due to mother tongue influence. To acheive a moderate rate of speech, I suggest you to get a feel for speaking at the ideal speech rate(110-140 Words per minute) and then gradually reduce it to 80-90 words per minute.
I would suggest you to practice reading a 200 word passage. If you complete the reading in less then 80 seconds, you are speking too rapidly.
Record your Rate of speech and make sure the rate of speech 2 is less than the earlier rate of spech and so on....I am sure this would help
