There are couple of good points, accepted, however the auth sounds funny when s/he says, talk to your family in english, haha. Okay fine, but what do you mean when you say DONT read local news.
*** Never speak NEGETIVE WORDS is one of the KINDERGARTEN BASICS of communications ***,
well does that mean local news is written in dumb english, I wonder abt the auth's maturity/capacity to 'communicate' on such topics.
being a beginer with a new company i was looking for such suggestions thanking the readiff for sendin this one than u regards mukesh chandel vsnl nagpur
I am new to rediff site,i went through the write up on communicating effectively.I read the views of others too.I will recall one write up i read recently in times of india ,I beleive some great literary personality of karnataka used to speak tamil in the kitchen, kannada in the streets, and english in the upstairs of his house.Probably what he meant was that language should be flexible ,communicable and people friendly. No fixed notion should be their as regards language. It should be used as per your audience ,situation and timing.
