Hi friends, When I was 19 years old and I was only 41 kgs. I went to a dietitician and got some suggestions. Now I am 49 kgs and 20 yrs old. I would like all of you to do the following First go to a lab and check whether you have any thyroid problems. Take a thyroid test. For many thats the reason for underweight. Next, take up protein drinks like GRD which is available in all stores. I took it and could see weight improvement in me. Third thing I did is to eat more than i usually used to eat. Increase your quantity of food intake. If u eat only 1000 calories a day, increase to 1500. Then ur body starts saving the extra calories. Have curd rice, milk (atleast 3 times a day), bananas (they give instant energy and good calories), bread, soya, non veg food, ice creams, add ghee with the food you eat ( i did that), apply butter on bread and eat instead of Jam. Believe me you can improve weight only through diet. Dont depend on pills.
