hi, I have booked a flat and i willget the possisationnext march.I have paid 100% amount to builder(taking loan ).Now in this case can i avail both HRA and Homeloan tax benifit sinc i would be living in rented house till march next year and also repaying the housing loan. Thanks

I have a loan from HDFC. My Flat is not yet completed. I have paid upfront/full payment to the builder. I have been paying EMI since last One and half years.I understand i can claim IT exemption only afetr the possession of the flat.
Could you please calrify Priniple and intereset component for IT exemption
In case of joint property there are co applicant in home loan operating from a saperate Joint Bank Account if interest is Rs. 3,20,000 pa & principal is R. 2,10,000 pa then can both the applicant avail individual tax benefit of Rs 150000 of interest & 100000 of principal amount?
