WE MUST TAKE SOME SERIUS STEP TO SAVE WATER BECAUSE WITHOUT WATER WE CANT EVEN IMAGINE THEN HOW COULD WE IGNORE THIS PROBLEM WATER IS LIFE SO EVERYBODY SHOULD SAVE THERE LIFE BEFORE IT TO LATE
All of us should go through the excellent options listed to conserve water effectively.
The richer becomes a person, greater becomes his water requirement. In such a scenario, its the poor who suffer.
People are very irresponsible towards water-conservation. Most of us do not cares how much water we actually waste in our daily routine.
It is said that the next worl war will be fought not on oil but on water. So let us contribute to our own countrymen first and think on contributing to the world on a larger scale.
An ordinary man has a lot of power, its only that he doesnt use it that well. Let us soon bring upon a change.
Irrational use/misuse of water will result into an incalculable harm to the human civilization.

The present generation has to start preserving the water in as many ways that it can by minimizing the use of water and pass the culture of preservation and saving to the new generation as well before it is too late.

All you all briliant & intelegent makes noise to save water, because Mumbaikar use more water.
SOLUTION:
Control Water? How ?
Make amendement at BMC to release water only for 1 hrs Every Day.
This will make peopel to conserve the water & will use with saving.
I suggest because Whenever I visit (I am from Thane District) my Mumbai base friends I see that they levishly use water.
For only to wash hand they use nearly 2ltr. when I asked why it is so?
He said "Here in Mumbai in our Society there is no charge as per use & also we get 24 hrs. water supply, why should I care about water when I am not going to pay for more use?"
Put Meter in each & every hose of every Resident Complex/Society, Charge them as per use, put max. limit of water use. After crossing max. limit makes water charges Doubled than Normal.
Strong political support need to make this amendment & I am 100% sure Mumbai gets worlds best award for limited use of water & for getting maximimu work done.
