Accountacy is not finance

For many indians accounting falls under finance. It is not. It is surprising to see counsellors advising people to be a CA to enter the finance field.

Well you cannot have finance without accounting. There are 3 Major types of accounting (Cost, Financial and Management).
IIM Ahmedabad put "Finance & Accounting" under one heading as well. Its same in Australia. Please get your facts correct
