The information provided is good but should have covered more in detail.I have one question "can one be qualified for Home Loan if he takes the Land now and do the construction later?"

What I can't figure out is how is Rs 17500/- 30% of 25000/-, as mentioned in your piece. Is it a basic math problem or a typo error by your writer?

Hi Sharon,
It is indeed a typo, as 30% of 25000 would be 7500 and not 17,500.
Hope this clarifies.

Btw even with this correction the point still remains that the person would be uncomfortable living with remaining Rs. 17,500.

If a person want to make house one should make with his own a/m not with loan. This type offer is olny incresing the crime. As per holy Quran Interest is Haram( No allowed). I thing everybody should controll their owe wishes and do the expence as per their pocket permitt. Try to avoid the loan at maximum leval

Dear Sir/ Madam,

The information was real good and informative
Can u tell me if the Salary is 13500/- gross, home take is 11000/- what will be the loan eligibilty.
with investment at Mira Road , and no childern , and husband working aborad. (Loan on one salary i,e mine)the house cost will be around 10 lacs
