Though i agree while making the juice some portion of fuits which are healthy gets away but if you the quantity of vegitable / guits one can take by juice is much higher than we can take by eating whole fruit / vegitable. Amol Taori
Well, we have long heard about the value of fruit being more than mere juice which has no fibre and has something additional to what is left in juice. That's true. There are some other sides to it. One is that the pesticides etc. used by farmeres rather indiscriminately are not gone after usual washing in the litchen. Besides, sometimes, they may have penetrateddeeper than the outer peel and there ismno way of knowing, This much for our old adage of eating with skin. Second, the fine print on the 'fruit drinks' is seldom clear. Some used to claim (still do?) no fruit pulp. Some popular ones declare fruit juice, sugar and permitted flavours among contents. But how much is the real juice and how much is the syrup with flavour? Any gueses?
great advice.but i would like to know whether cooked vegetables are better or raw vegetables ? this is because raw carrots / cucumbers are crunchier than cooked ones. am i right or wrong ? anybody advice ?
