Depending on match situation India can try some new things here.
Firstly, replace Uthappa with Pathan just for this match and get him to bat at one down and first chhange bowling. if he picks 2 wickets and score 40 odd runs at brisk pace. Its good enough
Seccondly, we all know how well Vaas and Murali prepare for the match. I am sure they would have already designed strategies against India already. To throw them off their game plan try openning the batting with Dravid and Sehwag. Remember how they reacted to surprises in the 6-1 defeat to India.
My recommended batting order would be: 1. Sehwag - Warn him no rash strokes in first 20 deliveries 2. Dravid - He has to play an innings like Ganguly's against Bermuda 3. Pathan - Surprise Package 4. Tendulkar - Beef up the middle order 5. Ganguly - he plays better against spinners 6. Dhoni - SMASH!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!!! 7. Yuvraj - to do what he does at his best, plus he can bat around the tail if needed 8. Kumble - Master legspinner, he handles pressure well with ball and this is surely a PRESSURE GAME 9. Harbhajan - He has bowled economic spells against Sri-Lankans 10. Zaheer - Spearhead 11. Munaf - India's reply to McGrath
For bowling start with Zaheer and Munaf. First change Pathan bowl him a straight 10 over spell from 11 to 30 overs. Kumble to strike and Bhajji to bblock runs and create pressure. Rest of the lot of part-timers can chip in if and when needed
And Greg Chappel talked about FEARLESS apparoch, dont give it up after Bermuda match, go for the Kill and make us proud
RE:INDIAN GAME PLAN vs SRI LANKA

Nice plan and I agree. But a few change: 1. Instead of Irfan, bring Sreesanth. He is much better bowler. 2. Do not sake utthapa, instead keep Harbhajan away.
The Indian Team does not realize that they are taking whole nations pride on their shoulder. They all are highly paid for the sport they are playing. They should realize that India wanted them to perform well not the way they broke our heart.Indians should be banned to play cricket for 1 year atleast. We can live without them playing as its anyway better to watch them loosing like school team. If we all can together protest together by not watching cricket for 1 year I guess it will make some effect on our players because they are not going to stop them playing for 1 year.
I am really surpise if Bangadesh is defeting India the I doubt the match Vs Barmuda. Play Kabaddi.. Kho-Kho or gilli Danda. Even i doubt Team India can play these games...
I am still not able to grasp even after having followed the game blancing passion with reason: Why are we not CONSISTENT? I feel disgusted being an Indian hearing press conferences from Australian and South African teams. They back up teir loathful talks with actions on field. Our cricketers earn more than these players ( I presume this), they are provided with the best infrastructure (at least when they rech the cream layer) then what is it. I am forced to reason
1) Is this the PSYCHE?
2) Our cultural upbrinings?
3) What is it that we dont have that the aussies and south africans have?
4) Even the weather is predictable nowadays, but not these (I dont know what to call them)
This is not a new phenomenon. This was apparent when even the greats were playing. So please, the manjrekars, the shastris and gavaskars, stay out of this debate, coz none of you deserve to answer these questions I have posed other than a psychologist!

Absolutely we cant replace genes - whites are superior than us no doubt physically n one thing they luv their game while playing - but indians are not bad either they have to play to their potentials - our balling is not great but we can atleast improve our fielding n back up our ballers - consistency is the key factor for india

I think that the reasons that Indians aren't good sportsmen are:
1. We are not strong enough physically! Thats quite difficult to oversome because of genetics...
2. We lack determination... one must play their heart out to win!
