D1, D2 does not mean first and second teams from Group D. Since both D1 and D2 play the other 6 teams and not against each other, nomenclature does not matter. Hence ICC had given pre-determined nametags to all the teams. Ex: SL was B1 and India was B2. Now that Bangladesh qualified instead of India, they will be B2. ICC wanted India vs Pak match (crowd puller) to be on a Sunday (15th Apr). Ironically, that will now be a BAN-Ireland match.

Since Ireland has taken pakistans place which was D2 the the seeded teams ranking is automzatically taken by team which replaces it so by group ireland stada at II pace but seed wise is is placed above westindies teams
if irland team win against pakistan than why we can't win against bangladesh. indian team are experiance but why they loos there confidence i don't no. i watching cricket match from the sahajah match against pakistan when miuadad jumping against kiran more ( monkey). i alway think that indian can win the match but they can't. i will think from my heart but not from my mind becaus all indian are thing from his heart.

the team which has more points in the group is cosidered as top in that group,if points r ssame then average is considered..so the ave of irland is better tha WI thats why its D1
There was a huge mistake by selection commitee that the players like "Irfan Pathan","Sreesanth" and Kumble has been dropped. Pathan was a all rounder whereas sreesanth has proved his capability in previous matches and kumble more over is a experienced player.
According to me "Anil Kumble" should be made captain so that every other senior players wouldnt have any pressure in playing .Anil kumble is a senior and experienced player he can lead the team so that rest of the players like ganguly,dravid,sachin can concentrate on their batting without pressure as a captain

The problem was not with our balling. The batsmen let the team down. Ganguly, Sachin were free from captaincy but still not not perform. Time for them to retire & allow fresh players in.

Dear Jagdish, According to this WC rule, there is a reserve day for each match i.e. the next day. If the match stop in the middle then the rest of the match will be played in the next day.
