I dont like dhoni but..........
by rayson on Jun 02, 2008 08:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I dont like dhoni but he is mentally strong man. Shows lot of character on the pitch and after losing the IPL on the last ball he showed why he deserve to lead Indian team by making that hurdle. Well done Dhoni Keep the good work going.....

What is Dhoni's contribution as a player? Character in pitch is a vague term.

Balaji lacks cunningness !
by jegadeesan durai on Jun 02, 2008 08:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Warne was running with Balaji and balaji should have allowed Warne to get past him and should have broken the wicket in the last ball. Then it could be a tie and as per DL CSK may be the winner for loosing only 5 wkts against RR's 7 wkts loss.

RR victory was not comfortable !
by jegadeesan durai on Jun 02, 2008 07:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

RR may be a good team but yesterday they won only due to sheer luck. CSK giving 3 lives to YP was the turning point and CSK was forced to play a big final within 20 hrs of performing a hi-voltage match in the semis and their energy levels were low. But RR had 48 hrs to relax.

Even the IPL league matches had a gap of 48 hrs for all teams but why there is no gap between second S/F and final ? The energy levels would have been different if the match is played after a day. RR just managed to win but it is not a convincing win for a champion. They struggled to win the cup and had no hopes till the last ball.

If you had seen the T20 world cup finals, where India won, we can that India won by luck going by your theory, when Misbah go out.
Boss, a win is a win.
Look at how Warne has mentored so many india unkown talents in RR team. Did you find even a single Indian captain doing that. Come on guys grow up.

1. If you give lives to your opponent you shouldn't say it is BAD LUCK. That's the way one loses the game.
2. The schedule was known to everybody since beginning be it CSK or anybody in second semifinal. Why nobody protested. Don't give lame excuses repeating Dhobi.

RR emerge out as winner under any circumstances. That has been the beauty of the the best team of the tournament. There has been instance where all top batsmen failed and 2 youngsters lead them to the end and won (vs MI). Let us be fare and not cry since we support CSK. Any team which was in the place of CSK, would have made similar reasons to cry. RR has been the team that won most number of matches. So, luck was not the factor, skill was the factor. Luck can only help in 1 or 2 games. Not in 14 games.
They were the winners even before the finals as they topped the table.

the final has to be like the way it happened..u seems to be highly frustrated guy coz of the loss of CSK in the finals or might have lost money on betting.. the most deserving team won. . they topped the league table and first team to enter into last 4 when CSK was struggling and pushing its luck very hard to be in semis..anyways... i would like to CONGRATULATE !! RR for putting a wonderful show .. Great work.. real winners .. only great gmaes.. no big names..

Badri has got talent. Balaji's overall performance was below par. Vidyut was a disaster. I don't think Vidyut is ever going to get a chance to make it to the Indian team!
