Why all the metros Stupid people keeps doing cheers for their team . mind carfully if u r smart people of india that RAJASTHAN ROYAL will win the IPL after all Jaipur is the best than matros of india
In the begining of IPL all of them expected that Deccan chargers will be on semifinal with the team contain most dangerous big names like Gilchrist,Gibbs,Afridi, symonds, styris,Vaas,Laxman,RP singh,Vengopal Rao. .At last,Amazingly they occupied the last place in the tournament.

Similarly KKR and Chennai... All the high profile players are utter-failures here in IPL. For the next time, kick them off from IPL
I had picked Rajasthan Royals team well in advanced before IPL starts begins.
At present this team can only be beaten if and if only opposite team play much much much better performance on given day and provided RR does not faulter in their performance.( even just average performace will do )

you are right kareem, dhoni allowed morketl to play only in the last match, dhoni retains parthiv who is total waste.even goni can get some fours again dhoni is giving him any chance allowing both left handers to open the innings he again and again made the same mistake.overall not at all a good captaincy

Yes, here in IPL it is not just the performance.. lot of tactics is also paying the captains. And where ever the management is poking their nose in making these tactics, teams are suffering.

Congratulations to Delhi for winning the crucial game and sealing a semifinal berth as they have 15 points. Now they don't have to depend on result of other games.Chennai will be under more pressure than Mumbai because Chennai has only 1 game and Mumbai has 2 games. So,Mumbai has to loose both of the games, or Chennai should win 1 and Mumbai only 1 for Chennai to make it into semis. If points of both the teams are tied, then also no chance for Chennai as nrr is negative for them.Chennai do not deserve to be in semis as they easily lost two matches(RR and BRC)which they could have won comfortably.Dhoni and Badrinath played selfishly without rotating the strike.

if chennai and mumbai win the remaining matches, delhi will not qualify for semis

Congratulations by Arun on May 25, 2008 11:22 AM If Mumbai win both, Delhi will not be out as they have 15 points and are safe now.Reasons, if chennai win one and mumbai win both, then Chennai could be out because of their negative run rate. So, whatever happens from here onwards,Delhi will not be affected. It is going to be a fight between Chennai and Mumbai.Dude, see the points tally and look at the games required to play for each team.

Arun - where r u from??
If Chennai wins its last match against DC, it will pip out Delhi Man.... Do ur Basic Calculation b4 posting messages. If mumbai wins one match n loses one with chennai losing the last match, mumbai n delhi will gothrough n chennai will be out. In any case for delhi to go to semis, chennai has to lose, no other option dude.

Dammy, you are saying that I have done the basic calculations wrong, see the logic of my earlier and the ipl points table to find what mistake you have done. You have forgotten the fact that Chennai has negative run rate and that will send them out of ipl even if they have the points. In case of tie with mumbai, chennai will be out as run rate of mumbai is superior to Chennai. As for your first question, Iam from Chennai, absolutely disappointed of my team's performance and Iam doing an unbiased analysis of the Chennai team performance without any regional affiliation towards them.

I think arun has got it wrong. chennai has already got 14 points from 13 and if it wins the last match again dc then the points will be 16. Mumbai has got 12 points from 12 matches and if it wins both the matches then mumbai too will be on 16 points. Mind you delhi has already played all the matches and they will be in 5th position with 15 points. The teams sure of semi finals as of now are RR and KXI. Chennai and Mumbai will be 3 and 4th teams to join if they win the remaining matches. Run rate will come into picture only if the points are equal. If at all NRR comes it will be to decide 3rd and 4th place if both chennai and mumbai wins. If mumbai looses 1 match then delhi and chennai will qualify. If chennai looses and mumbai wins both then mumbai and delhi will qualify. Hope this clears.
