CSK - MI match fixed???
by Asha Eapen on May 15, 2008 12:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When KKR won the match all Dhoni supporters said, the match was fixed. What do they say now, after Dhoni lost pathetically..? His bowlers got money to give 6s and 4s and wide balls??

Chennai rocks without any key players but for how long???
by Arshad on May 14, 2008 10:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Chennai super kings actually dont have any professional players except M.S.Dhoni and stephen fleming at the moment.everyone else r juniors. The 2 main aussie players (hayden and hussy) has left.ITS A TREMENDOUS PERFORMANCE TO HAVE WON WITHOUT ANY KEY PLAYERS.But will the victories continue by having a team like this without hayden and hussey??Will they not come back again??
Remember chennai is the only team without much professional players.

Dhoni should have brought in Balaji well before the 7th over. Atleast he should have let me bowl his full quota. Another big mistake was to bring Kapukedra and Jogi inspite of Palani. Palani shoud have been in the team with Jogi or Kapu.

Bad luck for CSK that fleming is not firing and is not in his best form. He just has one 40 score in 5 matches and his strike rate is not at all impressive(maybe for ODI, not T20).

u forgot morkel, Raina. See KKR, Ganguky,Hussy, Akhtar that is all. Bhut, Akash Chopra test players. Chennai lost because of bad captaincy. Dhoni repeatedly used bowlers 3 over each in powerplay when jaysuriya smashing the ball

Curious to know about Gangulis Business
by mailme alladin on May 14, 2008 04:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have been hearing they Gangulis are rich people. I'm curious to know what is the name of their company and what is their product/business - especially the ones which were running before he started his successful carrer in cricket.
Can anyone, specially those who are from Cal, reply.

Please note this has nothing to do with if DADA plays for money or not. It's totally out of my curosity.
Dada is a great cricketer.

Hi Alladin, I am a Bengali but not from Kolkata, I live in Hyderabad. The Ganguly family runs one of Kolkata's most flourishing and prosperous printing businesses (In fact, Asia's third largest printing press). This, primarily was what has led to the huge affluence of the family, and they are among the top 5 richest families in Kolkata.

Chandi Press, owned by Sourav's father Chandidas Ganguly. It is a very respected and flourishing printing press. Sourav's (the restaurant in Park Street) is also doing very well (unlike Sachin's restaurant in Mumbai)

All those who dont like Saurav Ganguly will write against the KKR and SRK and all those who dont like SRK will write against the KKR and Saurav. But a true cricket lover will appreciate the way KKR defended and won yesterday's match against DDD.

In India, every individual is biased - be it a media person, judge, govt official, student, intellectuals, celebraties or common public. They either support Cong or BJP in politics. They support either Sachin or Saurav or Dravid in cricket. There is no harm in it. But the problem is they forget there can be some good virtue in a person whom you donot support.
