Thank You
by subham das on Nov 11, 2008 06:37 PM  Permalink

Thanks to every Indian for acknowledging Sourav's achievements. He has showed, the cricketing community, the direction for reaching new frontiers, he has unified India and has converted India from being UnderDog team to a WorldCup probables. He had chosen the new set of players and supported them with the appointment of physio, analysts etc, and have instilled in them "THE KILLER INSTINCT". But sadly, people dont like changes and so does the almighty Selectors of the Indian Squad. Thus he carried their wrath and had to retire. But i am very happy that during his retiring days he sent a huge msg to the selectors and critics. He has hit 8 fours (mostly thru Onside) and rest took short runs on his way to 100 in the 3rd Test and same,85 in the 4th Test. Now dare to say that he is SLOW BETWEEN THE WICKETS ?
Also i am thankful to Dhoni who has sacrificed his Team Suite(only Captain is Enlitled) in the Hotel to accomodate Sourav and his family in Nagpur. Also he has drove the bus(like Krishna drove Arjun's chariot in Mahabharat)a couple of times, and also made us feel nostalgic when he requested Sourav to lead India durng the last minutes of his retirement. He has shown immense respct for the Seniors of the Team and so will win respect from all Indians.

History stays!!!!!!

All will be remembered, Saurav Sachin, Raj Singh, More, Chappel, Dravid and rediff readers.

People forget, memory fades but history stays.
Some are remembered for good reasons and some for wrong.
It requires a lot of discretion to decide between the good and the bad.
Unfortunately some people never see the reason.
God bless them.

East or west
by ABHIJIT dey on Nov 10, 2008 05:51 PM  Permalink

"DADA" has proven wrong all those dam critics who told that dada should give up, making lot of runs in the series against Australia. He, could have easily played 1 more year in international cricket. Shame on all those critics. All I can say is "DADA main hai dam". Best wishes to him for the rest of life.
